Having the same problem as these threads below:

Can't pinpoint what might have caused this to start, could be when I installed CU5 recently?
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Update - I migrated these mailboxes from one forest to another using the Cross-Forest Mailbox Migration tool in Exchange 2013. The messages began once the Cross-Forest Migration completed. All the permissions migrated and worked correctly, it just looks like it is causing a problem somewhere else.Good morning
I am not sure if this is possible but what I am trying to acheive is the following:
When an internal user sends and email to a particular internal email address and CC's in an external email address, I want to block that cc'd email to the external address but still allow the email to the internal address to make it through.
Hopefully I have explained this well enough. Is this possible?
Kind regards
Hello,
Im running Exchange 2013 on Server 2012R2, and all has been fine for a while until some users complained that ome of there external recipients are not receiving their mails. if I look in the mail que I indeed see the messages stuck with the comment:
[{LRT=14-4-2015 14:36:14};{LED=441 4.4.1 Error encountered while communicating with primary target IP addre
ss: "Failed to connect. Winsock error code: 10013, Win32 error code: 10013." Attempted failover to alternat
e host, but that did not succeed. Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to all alternate
hosts.
Initially i thought it might had to do with the PTR but I checked and the reverse lookup is fine, also the mail server ip's are not blacklisted. I've tried every suggestion on all forums I could find from changing MTU sizes to disabling TLS but nothing seems to work the majority of the mail goes out just fine but to a couple of domains it doesn't any input would be greatly appreciated.
I have only the internal DNS server configured on the NIC, only one NIC is available and OWA, Outlook and Activesync clients work just fine.
I have been working on a test server with a /29 and it had been working smoothly with 2 domains.
I then moved the server onto a new set of IP Range being a /28 holding all configs the same.
However since changing the IP on the Hyper-V Host to the new range - Exchange 2013 has stopped sending emails out and throwing the following error:
EXCH1.test.local rejected your message to the following email addresses: z***r@gmail.com (z***r@gmail.com) EXCH1.test.local gave this error: Unable to relay Your message wasn't delivered due to a permission or security issue. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept email from certain senders, or another restriction may be preventing delivery. Diagnostic information for administrators: Generating server: EXCH1.test.local z***r@gmail.com EXCH1.test.local Remote Server returned '550 5.7.1 Unable to relay'
NOTE: I have not changed anything apart from the PUBLIC IP. Internal IP is 192.168.18.20 and this had not changed. Receiving emails from anywhere is not a problem. Server is single multi-role server.
Here is the Transport Agents:
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-TransportAgent Identity Enabled Priority -------- ------- -------- Transport Rule Agent True 1 Malware Agent False 2 Text Messaging Routing Agent True 3 Text Messaging Delivery Agent True 4
Here is the Receive Connectors:
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-ReceiveConnector Identity Bindings Enabled -------- -------- ------- EXCH1\Client Proxy EXCH1 {[::]:465, 0.0.0.0:465} True EXCH1\Outbound Proxy Frontend EXCH1 {[::]:717, 0.0.0.0:717} True EXCH1\Client Frontend EXCH1 {[::]:587, 0.0.0.0:587} True EXCH1\Default Frontend EXCH1 {0.0.0.0:25} True EXCH1\Default EXCH1 {0.0.0.0:2525} True
Default Frontend - not changed (TLS, mutTLS, Basic, BasicTLS, Integrated, ExServer - ExchSvr,LegExchSvr, Anon) - scoped * port 25
Default - not changed (same as above, but ExchUsers instead of Anon) - scope 192.168.18.0/24 port 2525
I am sure this is so simple, however I cannot get my head around why it is rejecting outbound emails to any domain outside the org.
I have tried creating a new Receive Connector pure for Anon for internal exchange server however resulted in the same even with the following command:
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-ReceiveConnector "Outbound Relay for Internal" | Add-ADPermission -User 'NT AUTHORITY\Anony mous Logon' -ExtendedRights MS-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Recipient
Here is the Send Connector for reference and sends via MX directly:
[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-SendConnector Identity AddressSpaces Enabled -------- ------------- ------- Send Connector {SMTP:*;1} True
I have tried deleting the Send Connector and the latter 2x Receive Connectors without any change. Have restarted the server and Transport Service after making changes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
One thing that is strange is that I cannot telnet to any SMTP outside as it is always being accepted by EXCH1 constantly - not sure if this has anything to do with it!We are currently receiving a large amount of spam email in a shared mailbox (reception@mydomain) that is showing the to address as info@mydomain and that email address does not exist within the organisation.
If I try to send to info@mydomain (internally or externally) it is bounced back say the email address does not exist.
How can I stop this spam mail.
Thanks
I have a new Exchange 2013 server on premisses. Twice in the last week some of the server components have been marked as inactive. Is there a way ti figure out why this is happening?
This is randomly stopping mail flow from our ticket tracking software because it uses POP3
These are the commands I had to run before. I will correct this IMAP proxy one in just a bit;
Set-ServerComponentState -Identity lo-exch2 -Component imapproxy -Requester HealthAPI -State Active
Set-ServerComponentState -Identity lo-exch2 -Component forwardsyncdaemon -Requester HealthAPI -State Active
Set-ServerComponentState -Identity lo-exch2 -Component PopProxy -Requester HealthAPI -State Active
Set-ServerComponentState -Identity lo-exch2 -Component provisioningrps -Requester HealthAPI -State Active
I have a single multi-role Exchange 2013 server and it would appear that it's not properly maintaining the temp files for the transport service. I still have all those folder locations at their default and the problem folder is c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\TransportRoles\data\Temp
I never had a problem with this in Exchange 2007 but I am used to running a PowerShell script nightly to clean up the IIS log files. Do I need to do something similar for this temp folder? Is there a setting I can adjust so that Exchange will limit the size of this folder itself? If I stop the transport service and delete the files here will I lose anything?
Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Dear friends,
in my company I have setup Microsoft Exchange server 2013 with windows 8.1 but now we have expand our network with another company so I want to send and receive emails from but of servers, now how to do in Microsoft exchange server 2013? if u have any information it will help me a lot thanks in advance.
We are currently running exchange server 2007 and are in the process of moving towards Office 365 for our email needs by the year end.
My question is specifically towards exchange and/or Outlook, but also would be applicable within the office 365 environment. Is there any way to limit the number of email recipients in the to field specifically? IE, if someone is sending an email to more than X people, then it will alert the user that it cannot be sent, without the same limitation applying to the BCC field?
The use case would be to prevent the accidental sharing of email addressed during mass mailings.
I have an Exchange 2010 SP3/Office 365 hybrid deployment and I'm having a problem with a specific external email address sending us email. When he tries to send email, it'll usually bounce with a "Delivery not authorized, message refused" error. I thought I had this figured out a couple weeks ago, but it appears not.
This is a copy of the error log from his end. I have just enabled verbose logging on my SMTP connector, so please let me know if there's something in there I should be looking for.

Hello!
Our Exchange infrastructure description, briefly:
1. Using Exchange 2013 CU7
2. 2 x MBX+CAS servers (EX1, EX2)
3. 2 x Edge servers (mx1, mx2)
4. DAG, 4 DBs
5. Hybrid Configuration: 200 local users, 15 cloud users
Our case: sometimes our users receive NDR while sending messages to existing mailboxes:
"Remote Server returned '550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found'
For example, user sent 2 messages, first caused NDR, second was successfully delivered:
